Business transformation is now “business as usual”, driven by technology changes, geo-politics, and economic changes, as well as a myriad of other factors.
At LACE, we’ve been running a series of events to explore how HR leaders are uniquely positioned to influence the people side of transformation. As part of this initiative, we launched an in-depth research, conducted by an externally validated third party, with over 450 CEOs, CPOs, and C-suite executives.
In this event we shared and discussed the findings of our research, including:
- 52% of HR Leaders get involved in the transformation process when implementation planning begins, not at the initial strategy setting phase.
- Just 9% of HR leaders believe that there are no barriers to HR driving and leading on the people aspect of business transformation.
- 78% of C-Suite believe that people workstreams in business transformation fail because they are underfunded, deprioritised or HR is involved too late in the process.
