The LACE HRSS and Payroll Community held an interactive session that looked at how businesses can fundamentally change the way in which they deliver their HR Shared Services and Payroll functions.
They answered questions such as:
- Digital enablers and optimisation:
- Where are you with your digital optimisation journey across core systems and service delivery platforms, and what have been your key learnings?
- How do we get the basics of ‘data’ right? Is it an issue? For example, where are you with your job architecture journey?
- How can we reinforce expected behaviours across HR more broadly when it comes to data integrity and ownership accountability?
- Talent and skills within HRSS and Payroll:
- What new roles do you see in five years’ time in Payroll and HRSS?
- How can HRSS become more commercially driven and how much does this matter?
- Business stakeholders expect insights driven people decisions. What advanced capabilities do we need to tackle complex, value differentiating business problem statements?
- Colleague experience:
- How do we focus on the right things for line managers and employees?
- How high on your ‘to do list’ is early wage access?
- What does innovation mean to you? What does this look like for future roles?
