The January job hunt is over: Why your EX is more important than ever

Chris and Debbie speakers LACETraditionally, January has been a peak time for job hunt, but this may not be the case anymore for several factors. LACE’s Marketing Director Chris Howard and Senior Manager Debbie Mitchell discuss why this year feels different, touching on economic uncertainty and its effect on hiring trends.

Debbie Mitchell

Debbie shares a couple of truths. The first one is that uncertainty is unsettling: With political and economic factors creating instability, businesses may hesitate to make significant investment or hiring decisions.
The second is that experience is everything. Despite the external challenges, companies can take control of employee experience, ensuring that their workforce remains engaged, happy, and motivated.

People are prioritising their well-being now, which might be for several factors, like flexibility of hours and working location.
Debbie Mitchell
