Hybrid, talent, EVP: Where are we now?

A new series of videos has been launched to provide a deeper dive into the three core themes of our One Big Thing Campaign; hybrid working, employee value proposition (EVP) and talentAs part of this piece of research, we asked CPOs from a range of industries what their One Big Thing is that keeps them up at night.

In this podcast episode, host Chris is joined by two LACErs Tim Ringo and Chris Horton to discuss where we are with regard to these topics at this point in time. It is also discussed how there is a difference in HR priorities around the world. Take a moment to listen to our podcast now to find out how these challenges have evolved and what’s next in this space.

In terms of hybrid working the EVP needs to work for both the employee and the business. Furthermore, how much of an impact does company culture play? However, is there a danger of EVP becoming ‘potentially meaningless’ because it is used to often. Organisations need to stop seeing EVP as a ‘product’ but, instead, as a ‘living thing’ that is constantly evolving

Further Insights

There has been a blog series written by Tim Ringo on how hybrid working may be the silver bullet to the productivity problem in the workplace. Tim is an expert in the field of productivity and has recently written a book entitled Solving the Productivity Puzzle that addresses the topic of productivity.

The government is trying to put schemes in place to get people back in to work. Tim wrote a piece focusing on a government campaign to bring over-50’s out of retirement, assessing the impact for businesses. Could this be a talent pool that businesses can re-utilise?
